Second Annual "Racial Diversity in Health Communication" Report
In last year's report, "Racial Diversity₁ in Health Communication is Worthy of Investment," CFHJ explored employer data from findings from the Diversity Action Alliance to get a picture of racial diversity in the communications and health communication industries. This includes communication professionals in academia, government, nonprofit, and privately funded organizations. Later we stressed how diverse leadership is connected to substantial increases in revenue and innovation, and offered solutions on how a racially-diverse team can improve health communication practices. In the second report, CFHJ will reflect on the current representation within the health communication industry, using the measures from last year's analysis as a framework.
