CDC Foundation/Fahrenheit Creative Group
In May 2024, CFHJ recently completed an impactful four-month project with Fahrenheit Creative Group and the CDC Foundation. We supported the copywriting, editing, and equitable language updates for the Veteran Suicide Prevention Program Evaluation Toolkit (VSPE Toolkit).
Launched after a six-year evaluation project, the toolkit aids in developing and implementing evaluation plans for public health programs, particularly upstream suicide prevention strategies. It includes a VSPE Workbook with worksheets and VSO case example evaluation projects.
This collaboration highlights our dedication to enhancing health communications with an equity lens and supporting marginalized communities, including veterans.

Life Insurance + Health Justice
CFHJ helped Inclined, a #fintech start up, create a social media (Linkedin) content calendar (written content and infographics) for 2024, primarily for the audience of tax and financial advisors and potential clients.
The health equity and justice implications of tax inequity and access to wealth are clear. The more access to financial assets a person has, the better their health status is (RWJF, 2018).
The availability of life insurance can be a lifeline for many Black folks, as life insurance is one way to create wealth. According to a recent study by Forbes (2024), Black respondents (22%) were nearly three times as likely to indicate that they saw life insurance as a way to build #generationalwealth in their families.
